CALL TO WAR 2020 Email #2 FOR POSTED BRIEFINGS #2, 3, and 4 THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS CALLING HIS CHURCH TO PRAY SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER — AS HIS BODY — IN THE EARTH IT IS TIME FOR THE CHURCH TO FULLY BE “THE CHURCH” NOT AS MAN DEFINES IT BUT AS THE LORD HAS DEFINED AND DESIGNED IT TO BE! Paul unequivocally declared that the Church of Ephesus should know and understand all of those things that he prayed for them to know. He prayed that the spirit of wisdom and revelation would enlighten their understanding that they would know whom they were IN CHRIST as His Body AND what the Lord purposed to do through them in the earth. We too need to know and believe the same things so that, in the Will of God, we can be ALL of those things for His Kingdom’s sake in this present world RIGHT NOW. Ephesians 1:15-23 15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. We, the Church, knowing and believing these revelations about ourselves and our place in the Lord’s plan are paramount for us to be used of God to completely fulfill His plan and purpose in the earth in these last days. We cannot live by a revelation that have not both received and believed. The Church failing to be EVERYTHING that the Father intended for it to be is not acceptable to God AND will not facilitate Him fulfilling ALL of His Word in the End Times as He has promised to do. Romans 9:28 For he will finish [Greek = “complete entirely”] the work [LOGOS], and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work [LOGOS] will the Lord make upon the earth. The Spirit of the Lord is moving among His people RIGHT NOW, at this very moment in time and history. He is using the Sword of His Spirit (His Rhema) to judge and DIVIDE the Body of Christ. Because of His own sense of justice, He cannot judge the world without FIRST judging the Church. 1 Peter 4:17-18 17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? RIGHT NOW – at this very moment, the Lord is judging as acceptable to Him those who want Him, His truth, His promises, His purpose, HIS WILL, etc. to be first and foremost in their lives. However, in and by His Spirit, He is separating out of the fellowship of His presence those who only want to be “faithfully religious.” Those who are habitually NOT seeking Him, who are NOT passionately wanting to know Him in a personal relationship, and who are NOT desiring to diligently participate with Him in His Kingdom – everyday! We may do all that we can to keep them participating as a part of “our crowd,” but He is no longer dealing with them and will never use them. Again, the Lord Jesus Christ CANNOT fulfill His Word in the earth before the Rapture through an unsubmitted, uncommitted, crowd of traditional religionists. His Word can and will only be fulfilled through true Apostolic conduits of His Word, Spirit, Authority, and Power. In Jesus’ Name! Let me say this once more, IT IS HIGH TIME FOR THE CHURCH TO BE “THE CHURCH” AS THE LORD HAS DEFINED AND DESIGNED IT TO BE! We must never forget – WHEN IT COMES TO “HIS CHURCH,” HIS OPINION OF WHAT IT SHOULD BE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT COUNTS – both now and in eternity. The Lord Jesus Christ did not hang on the cross, shed His blood, and give His life so that He could build a “religious institution”! His blood was shed and He gave His life in order to bring into existence a spiritual “body” of believers who would truly and faithfully be His representatives in the earth. He fully intended that His Church would be willing to be IN THE WORLD BUT NOT OF THE WORLD. His unalterable plan is for His Body to be and do throughout the world all that He was and did during His earthly life and ministry! John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. In a similar vein of the Spirit, the Apostle John trumpeted, 1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because AS HE IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD. DO WE TRULY BELIEVE THIS? Are we willing to live according to this Word by the empowerment of His Grace – and according to His Will? Again, asked another way, are we more “religious institution” than righteous representatives of Him and His Kingdom? EACH OF US MUST ANSWER THIS QUESTION – IN THE SIGHT OF GOD, from the perspective of the Word of God only, and according to the integrity of our own conscience! Paul definitively declared that we are the Lord’s “ambassadors” who have been given both the word and ministry of reconciliation for the purpose of us “praying in Christ’s stead” (Greek = “place”) for the lost to be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). Is there a higher calling in this temporal world? Is there a greater purpose? NO! Ten thousand times, NO! The Dictionary.com gives one of the definitions of INSTITUTIONAL as, “having as the primary objective the establishment of goodwill and a favorable reputation RATHER than the immediate sale of the product.” When we, the Church, the Body of Christ, become institutional in our focus and “mission,” we become more interested in “marketing” our “product” to “guests” than preaching Jesus to a lost world! How very tragic it is that the spirit of our age has come into the Church where even “oneness pentecostal churches” have conferences and seminars focused on “processes” and marketing methods, and how to “appeal” to the lost to get them in our buildings where we can make them “comfortable” with us; thus, enabling us to “sell ourselves” to them and “grow” OUR crowd. Would someone/anyone give me BOOK, CHAPTER, AND VERSE for these “modern” methods and efforts? PLEASE! Anyone? Sadly, there is NO BIBLE for these “modern methods”! NONE! In fact, they are diametrically opposed to definitively declared Biblical principle! As Bro. Nathaniel Haney said many times, “A crowd is NOT a Church”! RATHER than these perverted, spiritualized, “business” methodologies to “church growth,” we need to understand and implement the Apostolic, Biblical principles of INCREASE. FIRST AND FOREMOST, THE WORD OF GOD DECLARES THAT THE LORD SAID, “MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER”! One of Jesus’ strongest demonstrations of emotion in all of the Scripture was His reaction to what was going on in the Temple regarding the selling of “sacrifices.” Men were profiting by making “obedience” to the Scripturally, prescribed sacrifices more “convenient” and less “expensive.” Rather than having to transport one’s “BEST” lamb all the way to the Temple, one only had to buy and offer what was being sold by these “sacrifice sellers.” Kind of sounds like what the modern “mega-church” is attempting to do today, is it not? Isn’t it very hard to imagine the kind, loving, merciful Jesus completely “losing it,” turning over tables, scattering their money, and braiding rope into a whip and driving these “religious merchants” out of His House? Oh, but He Did. HE DEFINITELY DID! Once they recovered from their shock at His actions, the Disciples recalled that it was prophesied, “The zeal of thine House has eaten me up” (John 2:17). How does our zeal for His House compare with His? Thankfully, I don’t have to “match” His zeal, I just have to be a conduit FOR HIS ZEAL! Again, why did the Lord act like this? Because they were perverting His purpose! He said, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER! This is how He wants His House, His Body defined. This is the predominant characteristic by which He personally identifies the CHURCH that is Biblically HIS! ONE MORE TIME, by cheapening and making convenient something that was NEVER intended to be either, these self-willed, flesh-powered, self-promoting opportunists undermined completely God’s purpose. I fear that the same exact thing, in principle, is happening today. When Jesus quoted the Old Testament that His House should be “called” (known as) a “House of Prayer,” He was specifically defining what His Church’s primary focus should and must be. Yet today, how many of “His Churches” would actually be characterized by this prayer emphasis as their most noteworthy focus of all of their activities and “ministries”? How many churches today would be identified by consensus as being a “HOUSE OF PRAYER”? Today, many Churches “pray.” But, how many are truly “houses of Prayer”? While some learn from and attempt to clone themselves in the “image” of the “successful Churches” of our age (while willingly ignoring their false doctrine) and even copying them and their growth material (essentially verbatim) that these “mega ‘spiritual’ businesses” first “plagiarized” from the secular business world, they are TOTALLY missing the mark (“sin”?) of their High Calling in Christ Jesus. Every true Apostolic must and will decide if they want the “trinkets” and “trappings” of being a “crowd-growing” Church; OR, if they want the power and authority of being THE GLORIOUS CHURCH! When is the last time that “the Church” was accused of “turning the world upside down”? Yet, we are called by the Father to be the Body of Christ in the earth; we are called to be His Conduit for His Name, His Kingdom, His Glory, and His Will. But will we be? You and I CANNOT be both the mega-”liked” and the God-pleasing Church! Our God will NEVER allow it! We can “do it” our way WITHOUT HIM or He will do it HIS WAY through us. It is EITHER/OR – ALWAYS! We are invited into HIS YOKE with Him, but He will NEVER get in OUR YOKE with us. EVER! The Lord did not call Noah because of what he HAD already done. He called Noah because of what he WOULD do AFTER he was given instructions from the Lord of what to do and how to do it. The Father is not looking for those who have “accomplished” things FOR Him. He is seeking for those who will totally submit themselves TO Him and do anything and everything that He tells them to, when where and how He tells them to; so that He can do His Will THROUGH THEM. These are the Lord’s priorities! What are ours? Said another way, the Lord is SEEKING for those who will allow Him to be TOTALLY IN CHARGE – IN EVERYTHING! He does not need our help, ideas, suggestions, plans, etc. HE ONLY DESIRES AND REQUIRES OUR FULL SUBMISSION TO HIM! Even the most casual, cursory reading of the Scripture with anything close to “open eyes” and an “open heart” will quickly discover that Our God never “accepted” anyone on THEIR TERMS – ONLY ON HIS! Again, He never has AND He never will! While He died for the whole world, saving the whole world is not His focus. Finding those who will completely submit to and fulfill all of His Will His way is His first and foremost focus in the earth – always has been and will always be. Even if that means ONLY EIGHT are saved! I am pleading with you, my Friend. No matter how much we “talk in tongues,” look “holy,” “grow” our crowd, AND do “supernatural stuff”; it is impossible for us to be exempted from being held accountable in the judgement for not being and doing in the earth what HE purposed and BUILT the Church to be and do. What is that? FIRST AND FOREMOST, it is to DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER (and not our own will) – IN ALL THINGS – EVERYDAY! It is impossible that He will make an “exception” for us! Totally Impossible! Matthew 7:21-23 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. In this passage from Matthew, Jesus unmistakably declared that ALL will be judged not by the “results” and/or the “supernatural manifestations” of our ministries, but by whether or not we have lived according to the “WILL OF HIS FATHER” in our daily lives. To not live by the Father’s Will is judged by Jesus to be working “INIQUITY”! If we have any amount of spiritual integrity within ourselves, we know without a doubt that there is NO WAY to excuse ourselves or to expect Him to give us a free pass in regards to His very specifically stated criteria for entering into eternal life! WE MUST REPENT of our iniquity! Biblically, repentance REQUIRES CHANGE! Change requires the full surrender of our will to the Father and His Will. IF we will seek Him diligently, then He will “grant” (give) us the Grace to repent – to change (Acts 5:32; 11:18; 2 Timothy 2:24-26). The following foundational, Biblical principle of revival and harvest has been and will always be the same; it will never change: John 12:24-25 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If we will submit ourselves to Jesus, daily following Him and His Will and His instructions, then HE WILL “BUILD” US (and His Church) AS HE WILLS US (it) TO BE. AND, He will do THROUGH us ALL that He has purposed to do. What an inestimable privilege and honor to be chosen by Him to be His Conduits for these Last Days! CALL TO WAR 2020 THE SPECIFICS OF THIS DIRECTION FROM THE HOLY GHOST FOR THE PRAYER EFFORT CALL TO WAR 2020 ARE AS FOLLOWS: Please let me state clearly, Call to War 2020 is only one of GOD’S EFFORTS to call His Church to Biblical prayer, to true repentance, and ultimately, to full victory first of all over ourselves and our wills and then over the “spirit of iniquity” that is already at work in the earth. THIS IS HIS PLAN; WE ARE HIS PLAN! For this specific effort, the Lord has instructed that a “Call” be sent forth for those who would respond to Him to join together in specific, focused prayer this year. The Holy Ghost is asking for every Church that will do so to fast one day and do a 24-hour prayer chain that day, every month, starting in March through September of this year. Finally, for those who are willing to participate, the Spirit of the Lord is calling for a joint prayer meeting for Tuesday through Friday nights, October 27-30 – every evening – AT EVERY CHURCH THAT WILL DO SO, for however long each night that they are willing to pray. As I did for Call to War 2016, I am being directed to provide livestreamed, Spirit-directed, focused, spiritual warfare prayer each evening for those who desire to participate in that manner. It is NOT necessary to have the directed-prayer streamed into your local prayer meeting in order to participate with this effort. That is only being offered for those who desire that type of nightly direction. All of this is only possible for anyone to do BY HIS GRACE (which is His supernatural empowerment to do what we will never be able to do ourselves – Philippians 2:13)! We cannot defeat the “spirit of iniquity” (2 Thessalonians 2:5-12), while we are personally “working iniquity” (Matthew 7:21-23). It is won ONLY by actively participating with the Holy Ghost as yielded conduits of the authority of His Spirit. Thereby, doing the work of His Kingdom so that He can use His Body, by and through the Grace of God, to cause His Love, His Word, His Name, His power, His authority, and His Will to prevail in the earth. Thus, warfare prayer is only accomplished in the supernatural arena of PRAYER and by praying supernaturally! Our Father desires to minister to this world and its needs — THROUGH US – by prayer. No one can defeat prayer but the faithless and the prayerless! No one and nothing else! Again, His plan and His will is to pray His Will into being in the earth by and through the Church – His Body in the earth (Matthew 6:10; Luke 11:2)! The Head of the Body of Christ (the Lord Jesus Christ) is sitting on the Throne of the Universe ruling and reigning over everything in the universe – RIGHT NOW (Ephesians 1:14-23; Colossians 1:9-20). We are His Body on the earth. Should not the Body fully cooperate with and do ALL that its Head desires (WILLS) to do? As stated earlier, according to Jesus, “working iniquity” is us NOT doing the Will of Our Father, which is synonymous to us living to any degree by our will – by self-will. When it is time and we are prepared spiritually, we will come against the spirit of iniquity in October TOGETHER – but ONLY as the Spirit of the Lord leads. Again, this is strong instruction for those who choose to participate with this specific prayer effort. I am sure that circumstances and situations that are occuring in our world, our nation, and/or our lives will try and pressure us to come against the adversary before we and the Spirit of God are ready. PLEASE do not give in to this. God ALWAYS has a time! Let it be carefully noted that the prayer effort described above is not about an “election.” This about “restraining” the spirit (mystery) of iniquity in the earth that is warring against God, truth, and faith! (2 Thessalonians 2:5-12). This is about spiritual war with the god of this world as we have been commanded to do! We must resist him in the Spirit! Again, please watch the videos.
