DO YOU SEEK A CHANGE IN YOUR PROBLEMS OR YOUR PERSPECTIVE?

The Lord gave me the following as His response to a Brother’s request that I pray with him for his current circumstances:
I will pray for your situation. BUT, I would suggest that you focus your prayers on seeking to know what the Lord is trying to say to you through both your physical AND your financial situations. When you have received His Word for you AND have obeyed it, then you can expect Him to begin to change the situations that are challenging you. That is the way it has always worked for me, once He made me to understand that what I really needed was not my problems to be resolved, but for my focus/perspective to be changed!
When I have been focused on my problems as the priority of my prayers, it demonstrates that either, consciously or subconsciously, I am not acknowledging that NOTHING can happen in my life without God’s permission. If I renew my faith in that and begin to seek Him and to know what He is saying to me, INSTEAD of seeking for Him to change my circumstances, then eventually (in His timing) I will receive His Word for me, His Work in me, AND the change in my circumstances according to His Will.
NOTHING EVER HAPPENS TO A CHILD OF GOD WITHOUT THE LORD HAVING A PURPOSE FOR IT! EVER!
There are NO “random” circumstances in the lives of those who belong to the Lord. EVERYTHING has a purpose! THAT IS THE BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE!
